SKINNER CLAIMS RAIN-SHORTENED TRUCK SERIES WIN AT KANSAS Mike Skinner was victorious despite rain delays in Monday’s NASCAR© Camping World Truck Series™ (NCWTS) race at Kansas Speedway. He led a race-high 67 of 132 laps before persistent rain forced officials to call an end to the event 35 laps early. Skinner took the lead for good from Stacy Compton on a lap 119 restart, after crew chief Eric Phillips’ call to take only a splash of fuel put the No. 5 Toyota ahead of the front-runners on the 1.5-mile oval. Shortly after, the light mist made conditions too slick to continue, giving Randy Moss Motorsports its first NCWTS win. TOYOTA TALLIES TOP-10S AT TALLADEGA Toyota drivers earned a total of eight top-10 finishes in the two NASCAR© races that took place at Talladega Superspeedway over the weekend. Both races ended in dramatic fashion, with flipping race cars and last-lap passes for the win at the 2.66-mile Alabama superspeedway.
