Toyota Racing Weekend Recap

NASCAR® Nationwide Series™ --  Kyle Three-Peats at Texas Race

Kyle Busch won his third straight NASCAR® Nationwide Series™ (NNS) race at Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday. Busch started on the pole in the Joe Gibbs Racing No. 18 NOS Energy Drink Toyota Camry and steadily built his lead throughout the early portion of the event. Fighting a loose condition for the majority of the race, Busch exchanged the lead with Jeff Burton near the race’s midpoint. The 23-year-old Las Vegas native kept the car underneath him to take the lead back for good on lap 106, crossing the finish line 1.447 seconds ahead of eventual runner-up Tony Stewart.

NASCAR® Sprint Cup Series™

Four Toyota Camry drivers recorded top-20 finishes in Sunday’s NASCAR® Sprint Cup Series™ (NSCS) race at the 1.5-mile track facility. David Reutimann was the highest-finishing Camry driver, posting an 11th-place result in Michael Waltrip Racing’s (MWR) No. 00 Aaron’s Dream Machine Toyota. Reutimann started on the pole -- the second of his NSCS career -- and led 40 laps early in the 334-lap, 500-mile event won by Jeff Gordon.
