Weekend Rewind:

ROBBY RALLIES TO RUNNER-UP RESULT: In Sunday afternoon's NASCAR® Sprint Cup Series™ (NSCS) race, Robby Gordon finished second behind race-winner Jimmie Johnson at the 1.99-mile Infineon Raceway road circuit in Sonoma, California.

BRENDAN BEST CAMRY AT ROAD AMERICA: In Saturday's inaugural NASCAR® Nationwide Series™ (NNS) race at Road America, Brendan Gaughan was the highest-finishing Camry driver in the field, finishing third behind race-winner Carl Edwards and runner-up Ron Fellows.

BROWN AND WORSHAM LEAD AT BRISTOL: Antron Brown advanced to the Top Fuel semi-finals, while Del Worsham accomplished the same feat in Funny Cars to lead the Toyota-sponsored cars in the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series' Thunder Valley Nationals at the Bristol Dragway on Sunday.

ROOKIE RETURNS: A year ago, 20-year-old rookie Logano earned his first career Cup Series win in just his 20th NSCS start at NHMS in a rain-shortened race. The Middletown, Connecticut-native became the youngest race-winner in series history at 19 years, one month and four days. His crew chief, Greg Zipadelli, kept the JGR No. 20 Home Depot Camry driver on the track when others pitted -- before persistent rain forced NASCAR to call the race after 273 (of 301 scheduled) laps were completed.

CAMRYS CAPTURED CHECKERS: In last year's Nationwide Series race at NHMS, Joe Gibbs Racing teammates Busch (first) and Logano (second) swept the top-two spots at the checkered flag. In 2008, former Toyota driver Tony Stewart earned the first Camry victory at the one-mile oval. Stewart's Toyota was followed to the checkered flag by two additional Camry drivers -- Hamlin (second) and Busch (third).

In the NHRA:

BROWN SURGING: After growing pains with his new team had slowed him at the beginning of the season, Antron Brown appears to be peaking as the series nears the Countdown playoffs. In the last four races, Brown has been the number one qualifier twice. He also progressed to the finals two weeks ago at Englishtown and to the semi-finals this past week in Bristol.
