NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and Nationwide Series head to Charlotte

Hey Race Fans, The NASCAR® Sprint Cup Series™ and Nationwide Series™ head to Charlotte this weekend.  It's the 5th race in the NASCAR® "Chase" for the Sprint Cup and Toyota Drivers Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch are still in Championship Contention. QUEEN CITY RETURN :  The NSCS returns to Charlotte Motor Speedway (CMS) this weekend for a 500-mile race Saturday night, the only Chase race under the lights.  Busch finished third in the Coca-Cola 600 at CMS in May.  The 25-year-old Las Vegas native led 36 laps in the JGR No. 18 M&M’s Camry, and crossed the finish line behind his older brother Kurt and Jamie McMurray.  Camry drivers Reutimann (fifth), Logano (13th) and Hamlin (18th) also finished in the top-20.  Toyota has one NSCS win at the 1.5-mile oval, when Reutimann was victorious in the rain-shortened May event in 2009. TOYOTA TAILGATE :  Toyota Racing will have a pair of ‘Toyota Tailgate’ displays at Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend, where race fans can watch their favorite college football games and get updates on the latest scores.  Fans will also get the chance to win an instant prize of suite tickets and a visit to pit road during the race by guessing correctly how many footballs will fill the bed of a brand-new Toyota Tundra at each of the displays.  Following the race weekend, the footballs in the Tundras will be donated to Charlotte-Mecklenburg and Cabarrus County school systems.  One ‘Toyota Tailgate’ display will be located near Gate 6, across from Hospitality Village behind the Turn 1 grandstands, and the other will be near the tram stop by Gate 12, near the Diamond Tower grandstands.  Both Toyota Tailgate displays will be open from 2:00-7:00 PM on Friday and 12:00-7:00 PM on Saturday.
