Toyota Racing: Keep up with us this weekend!

Hey Toyota Racing Fans,

Check out what to watch in NASCAR® and NHRA this weekend as the Toyota NASCAR drivers return to Phoenix for the penultimate race in all three series and the Toyota NHRA drivers enter the final round at the Pomona Fairplex.

In NHRA

With one event left in the 24-race NHRA Full Throttle Series season -- the 45th annual Auto Club NHRA Finals at Auto Club Raceway at Pomona -- the Championship is as close as you can get. Tony Schumacher leads Larry Dixon and the Al-Anabi team by just one point. Can Dixon unseat the Six-Time Top Fuel Champion?

With two Chase races remaining this season, Denny Hamlin moved up three spots to 8th in the standings while Brian Vickers remains in 12th-place …

In NASCAR® Nationwide Series™

Kyle Busch could capture his first NASCAR Nationwide Championship this weekend in Phoenix. Tune in to watch Rowdy as he chases that title.

In NASCAR® Camping World Truck Series™

Tundras have had a great deal of success in NCWTS competition at Phoenix. Tundra drivers have won two of the five Truck Series races they have competed in, including back-to-back wins in 2005 (Todd Bodine) and 2006 (Johnny Benson).

Toyota Racing: Kyle Almost Collects "Texas Triple"

This weekend at Texas Motor Speedway, Kyle Busch almost accomplished what no other NASCAR® driver has ever done before -- win all three of NASCAR's touring series events. Busch recorded victories in the Nationwide Series™ Saturday afternoon and the Camping World Truck Series™ Friday night, but he ran out of fuel with three laps remaining and finished 11th in Sunday's Sprint Cup Series™ race to miss a weekend series sweep. Denny Hamlin finished second in Sunday's event and moved to eighth position in the Chase standings.

Toyota Takes Fourth Straight Truck Series Manufacturer's Title

On Saturday, when Kyle Busch crossed the finish line first at Talladega Superspeedway, it enabled Toyota to clinch its fourth consecutive NASCAR® Camping World Truck Series™ (NCWTS) manufacturer's championship.

Toyota has won the NCWTS manufacturer's championship each year since 2006, along with a pair of driver titles for Todd Bodine (2006) and Johnny Benson (2008). Overall, this is the sixth time Toyota has earned a NASCAR manufacturer's title since the start of the 2004 season.

When Kyle Busch's Camry crossed the finish line second in the NASCAR® Nationwide Series™ (NNS) race at Memphis Motorsports Park on October 24, 2009, it enabled Toyota to clinch its second consecutive NNS manufacturer's championship in just its third year of series competition.
